Well i think i can officially say that i am addicted to Atari’s Test Drive Unlimited on the Xbox 360. For a game that only score an 8 out of 10 on IGN its one that i’ve had my eye on for a while, waiting for it to come down in price. I was a little skeptical that i would get bored with it pretty quickly, but i can say that i have not thus far. I find myself spending every spare moment i have trying to get in a quick race or two, to earn some extra cash and buy a new car or house. I’m thinking right now i could be playing instead of writing this post, haha.
I’m not alone on this one, as i know my mate Waz is also spending a fair amount of time racking up the km’s around Hawaii in this beautiful looking and very fun game. There are just so many races, time trials, speed camera tests, and even delivery races and hitchhikers. So much to do, and so far to travel to get it all done. All challenges aside even just cruising the beautiful island that is Hawaii is fun. The game basically gives you free roam on the entire island, with over 10,000 miles of roads to drive on!
So to anyone considering this game, if you are interested in car games definitely give it a go, its fantastic. Since it is an older game now you should be able to pick it up at a reasonable price. Go get it!
